As the headlines mount on Michael and Farrah, it feels more and more like the end of an era. I am 12 days away from my trip back to Detroit, the deserted land of the American dream. Los Angeles is a completely different life for me filled with creation and work. My Detroit project feels like a way to finally combine both worlds that have made Burn One what it is today. Here is a pic of a stock of film that Kodak is retiring called Kodachrome. Before it goes extinct…we are gonna rock MI with it! Cheers to the people, places, and things that have carved history. RIP.

On another note, I have been slammed with deadlines for my short film ‘History of Made Up Things’.
We will have the first cut done on July 7th! I have the BEST actors in the world! They killed it! I also managed to squeeze in a photoshoot with myself and Analigital…did a lil bikini modeling (what!!!) I also photographed this young gentlemen above for Janice L.Salas makeup portfolio this past week. Super fun shoot and more pictures on the way! I will update you more as the party unfolds here at BOP. Until then..write me a comment fool!

My life is an assembly line belt set too fast. That’s the style I function best in though. Without pressure and one cluster-fuck of a schedule (excuse my language), I am worthless! This is a picture of Detroit’s Central Depot building I have been researching for my newest project. I will be exploring this and many other crazy one-of-a-kinders in Michigan’s abandoned lots. Burn One has an idea of how to change the Motor City. You in or what? I mean, look at this building! It’s too beautiful to waste.

I am editing my short film, working odd jobs, and gearing up for a BOP Garage Sale in LA all this week! I gotta tell yah though…I’m in the best mood. Here is a picture of a puppy to put you in a good mood too! This is taken by one of the OG’s of BOP Marta Alvira-Hammond. Check her photos out HERE! She is busy living the life in Spain and currently working on our NEW T-shirt design for my trip back to the MITTEN! Come back soon, I’m in machine mode!

Although I must admit, I’ve been watching game 3 tonight anyways! I still love basketball, even though Phil Jackson is running out of room on his hands, and Kobe is a robot. Pistons 2010 whoop whoop!! Here is a new logo for Burn One I made today, with actress Jenny Bahn (History of Made up Things). She is fabulous and gorgeous. More on Jenny and new pics very soon! Now, if you wanna support me in my newest project go HERE! Everything in our store (but one item) is $15 !!!!!!! This includes shipping! xxo Ash

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I am back in full swing, working away on several projects. First and foremost being my short film. But I did manage to sneak some time in with my new Canon Elan 2E camera and take some pictures this weekend. We had a blast and even found a gang of street cats and kittens that were just adorable (and well fed by the local church..don’t worry). I start editing tonight on ‘History of Made up Things’…so excited! Today is a Burn One Clothing day at the office, placing new orders and stuff. Check out our store now! Everything is $15!!!! More soon!
(Click on this pic) I found some random film in a drawer and came up with this image. It developed looking vintage. Hey, I’m learning right?! It kinda reminds me of this one movie Click HERE to watch it now!

This is another picture from the mystery role of film. It reminded me of the desert so I made it into a ‘Mojave Kill’ ad. Wanna watch it? Click HERE!

It is overcast and I woke up late. Today is going to be one of those days that lingers into the night and I’m on my computer until sunrise tomorrow. There is something about a cloudy day in LA. I just want to write and watch movies. Here is a picture of the amazing Kent Karson, the lead actor in my short film ‘History of Made up Things’ We have begun the editing process!! This photo was taken by master filmmaker Richard Martinez of Analigital. Check out a new video Rich did with musician Keri Hilson HERE!

This is a photo of Eli Jane, lead actress in ‘HOMUT’ She is a pleasure to work with and so beautiful! The photo was taken by the super talented Kayvon Esmaili. Check out his cool show NOW! I have made serious progress on several new projects recently! I know it’s cliché but diners really are perfect for inspiration. Especially in NoHo. So check back because we have so much stuff to show yah! Support us and help fund the music for my short film by stopping by our STORE NOW!
