This is a photo I took on my 35mm with some really sick film stock of model and clothing designer Margie Nusbaum this past week. It was a blast and special thanks to Miss Hannah Mae for her help and Catherine King for letting us invade her backyard! We rounded up some awesome vintage stuff and shot all day in the heat. It was after a long night of partying together that ended just hours before we had to be up the next morning! See, you can mix business with pleasure. In fact, I recommend it.

On another note, my short film is really coming along! I have been going at it with everything I got lately. I keep finding myself studying the way people talk to each other more now. I probably look like a creep with a staring problem but F-it right!? With casting, storyboarding, budgeting, and crewing up, things are moving along well. I will be going to Detroit for a wedding this weekend, and while I am there I will be shooting pictures for our new clothing ads coming out soon. This is a picture I took last time I was in MI. Much more to tell you about my trip to the D soon! So keep it ganster and don’t go getting lost…. xxo Ash

I have had 8 days of shooting on 4 different projects in a row! Life is mad good. This is a picture I took, doing camera and lighting tests with Miss Hannah Mae. We cooked up some delicious food and got creative for hours with my new HVX. It has been a crazy time! Between working on a Luther Jackson music video, BOPBlog.Tv photoshoots, a short film called “Numb”, and ValleyPeaks.Tv , I have also been preparing for my own short film!! It’s been a blast working with so many different crews. Makes me realize how inspirational and hardworking my LA homies are!

This is a picture from the set of the Luther Jackson music video, directed by Richard Martinez of Analigital. It was a blast, and the song is bumpin! Today I have been in and out of meetings. I also got to pick up some samples from showrooms around town for Burn One Clothing. I am going to be in Detroit next weekend, and will be shooting a few pics there for the new B.O.P. line coming soon! Tonight I am cooking BOPBlog.Tv producer Diana Cruz dinner before we head out to tape B-roll in an Escalade at the Staples Center for her upcoming project. I’m the camera girl!! Wish me luck!! A fun weekend ahead, and Monday is round 2 of castings for my short! Talk soon. xxo -Ash
I just broke my TV, but who needs it! I use the internet all day. Everyday. Every damn day. If you haven’t gotten into web series yet, you are sooo not fresh! I have had the pleasure of script supervising one called VALLEY PEAKS . It is hillarious, and original. Don’t be fooled by the ongoing outlandish stupidity of the characters on the show, this web series is witty and calculated! Check it out for yourself and watch their NEW TRAILER….. Ok! Now that you are back from watching that, go make FRIENDS with them. The creators of the show (Tanner Beard, Phil Donohue, Kayvon Esmaili, Phil Jessen) are four of the hardest working people I know. Don’t forget to show my boys some love and leave them a comment..or two.
Let me break it down for you. Web TV is going to be taking over in a major way! Get up on it!

(This is a pic from the 2009 BOP Calendar par-tay with some of the VPers. Shout out to two beautiful and talented actresses of the show, Cathy Baron and Amelia Meyers. )
I have to get going to pick up some equipment for a photo shoot today. I am shooting in a canyon that we have to climb first with all the gear, which I’m actually excited about. I shot with Richard Martinez from Analigital yesterday on a music video too, so check back real soon about that. Tomorrow, I am working on a short film called “Numb”. A long weekend of work, but that just means I’ll have more to tell you about soon! A wise woman named Britney Spears once said “Why don’t you do summin?”…..there’s people making stuff happen for themselves all over. What are you doing???? xxo Ash

I can’t walk anywhere in my house right now. I have hard drives and cords everywhere uploading footage and burning DVDs. I have wrapped two new projects recently that I am close to releasing. The first is called ‘Cashed’ starring Judy Courtland. This is a photo I took on set…she’s a hottie. I am also working on a music video Friday with Richard Martinez from Analigital, shooting green screen with my NEW CAMERA!!!

I have the auditions for the LEAD actress in my short film tomorrow! It will be fun to kick it with the producers, my actor and my casting director all at once. Our first time all in the same room! And I love all of them like family! This picture is from a fundraiser i went to last night where I won a ridiculously expensive pen. I keep it old school with pencils..so it’s going on Ebay! I will update you more about my short as it goes down. Busy week with B.O.P. so check back. We have some major website changes and NEW clothing coming! xxo

I will give you a little taste of a Burn One Productions day at the office.
- Change songs on my ipod
- Physical activity (keep it tight, keep it right)
- emails, updates, text people back even though I suck at that
- 1 hour writing block (very important)
- Some form of meeting
- prop returns (so I can buy the next round)
- Burn One Clothing shipments
- Diana gets off work ( BOPBlog.TV)
- My editors get off work!!! (Editing until sunrise)
- Busta gets fed
- party or bed
I went off twitter for this reason. This is where I will be doing my talking. And I promise not to bore you with my daily crap ever again…just the highlights like fun pics of hot B.O.P. girls and silly movies. Holla. Or as we say in the D… “ChuCh”

It is 4:58 am. I woke up and can’t go back to sleep. I have so much going on right now it is surreal. One thing has remained the same in the 5 years that I have lived here. Everything comes at once. It is a way to weed out all the people that can’t stomach making real choices. This is a picture of the lead actor Kent Karson, for my upcoming baby project, ‘The History of Made up Things’, a short film I am in pre-production for.

Today I decided to buy a camera for Burn One Productions. I pick it up tomorrow. It feels right getting back to directing. At the end of the day, it’s all I want to do. Stepping back and collecting my priorities has made me so excited for the future….so it’s on now! Be ready for many many new things dropping. And until then, go HERE

No silly…not a man (that’s crazy talk, who has time for that!) I am having my first round of castings April 8th to find my LEAD ACTRESS for my new short film! We begin shooting May 17th and I met with the producers yesterday. I am so excited and happy right now. It is coming at a great time too. I need something positive to focus on and give everything to. Life has been throwing me curve balls a bit too much lately. Time to turn that into art!!!! Here is one of my fav pics from the BOP commercial.

This is a photo I took of my homegirl and the stylist for Burn One and BOP Blog, Candice Moran. BOP Blog has so much coming up too! Today I am going to meet up with photographer Myles Pettengill because he has a project coming up for me! Then I am going to the Beverly Hills Film Festival with Jaymz Eberly to do some red carpet press, and finally I have a music video meeting with Neoclectic Productions to direct a project for them. Staying busy is good..keeps my mind in fabulous mode!
