2009 is going to be a great year, I can just feel the energy today!   I am excited to announce that I have the full funding for my next short film and pre-production starts Jan.2!   It has been a baby project of mine that is two years in the making, and we haven’t even started yet!   My partner Kent Karson and I are thrilled to begin and can’t wait to work with many familiar faces again…so expect a call soon!  This is the beautiful and talented Karen E.Lucey , who is Miss January of our 2009 Burn One Productions Calendar.  If you haven’t already, now is the time to pick up a copy at our store.  I am going to a party in Hollywood tonight with my producer Diana Cruz!  Have a great night, and cheers to ‘09!

This is a photo I took a while back.  I have to make this short because my right index finger is acting up and that’s my typing finger.  I was salsa dancing with a friend of mine in the kitchen and as always tripped, jamming it on the frig.  Now my typing skills are that of a fourth grader.  I am going to the beach to exercise. Then to 12 stores to pitch my clothing line on Melrose.  Then to body shops to pass out the calendar.  And finally, to my lead actors house to work on our project all night.  When I get home I will be logging footage I shot last weekend.  More soon, gonna go ice my finger!  Check out our myspace videos for some really bad movies if you are bored!  And friend us! 

If you know me well, there are two things I am afraid of.  Snakes and Planes!  So there better not be any snakes on my m*thaf*ckin plane!  Whatever, that’s not played out yet is it….ok yah it is!  I have finally figured out I leave Monday for the love of my life, MICHIGAN!  I love it more when it is above zero in temperature but I can’t wait to see my friends and family!  Speaking of which, I will be going for sushi with four of the models from our 2009 Calendar tonight as well as some other hotties!  Above is a picture of two of them.  Miss February Margie Nusbaum and Miss July Candice Moran.  So excited for a girly night!  I was on my computer for 14 hours yesterday…no joke!  I have a suprise shoot coming up this Sunday and will post some pics of that soon!  Myles Pettengill is photographing it before he leaves forever to travel the universe!  More soon…more pics..more updates..more more more.  Check out our EVENT INFO section now for new updates and buy a calendar!!!!!!! This past weekend I shot a new little project for the web with actors Trevor Butcher and Casey Peters.  We spoofed Twilight!  It was very fun and I am about to look at the footage in 10 minutes for the first time!  I haven’t had any time to until today!  I had a busy morning working on props for a project.  If you didn’t already know, I started in the art department so it was fun to go back to my roots for 5 hours!  I will be on my computers and video station till the sun comes up tomorrow so now is the time to email me and holler at your girl!  Check out our MY SPACE PAGE at www.Myspace.com/BurnOnePro now to view our 2009 Calendar Release Party pics and Friend Us!

I have survived a hard drive crashing and an unfortunate North Hollywood discrepancy in the last 24 hours, yet I am in a very good mood. Aside from a small robbery and a data meltdown Burn One is in high spirits! Had a very busy day today and an even busier week ahead. I go back to MI next Monday for the holidays and I am doing a million things before I go! This is a picture of myself with producer Diana Cruz, and the actors Jason Burks and Catherine King (Miss April) of my upcoming movie “Shotgun Chaza”, out first thing next year.

Last night was a blast and thanks to everyone who came! It was great to have so many of my friends come out and support me, as well as meet the huge number of new faces who came to check out the calendar! Burn One Loves You Guys! Yesterday was insanely busy for me!  I had so much going on I could not even think straight!  But everything went well and I have some really great projects coming up after the New Year.  I will be directing something very cool but I don’t want to curse it so I am gonna wait to reveal too much about it!  This is a photo of one of my very dear friends Andrew Graziano, who edited my upcoming film “Shotgun Chaza”.  He and my producing partner Diana Cruz were in Miami covering the Victoria Secrets Launch.  Congrats to them on such a huge project.  Diana and I will begin shooting our web series early next year as well.  She also informed me yesterday that she got us into the People’s Choice awards coming up soon!  Very cool.  This Friday I will be going to the PETA holiday party with Myles Pettengill, a photographer from our 2009 Calendar!  Is it bad that we are going to get burgers before????  More soon!  

Text messaging is the single serving of a conversation and it’s cramping my style.  I miss having conversations with people that don’t get confused because of smily faces, dot dot dots, and the fact that sarcasm can not be read sometimes!  Ok I usually dont use this outlet to blog about the world but screw it!  It had to be said!  Oh and just so you know, I’m texting someone right now..haha I’m a hypocrite..too hard to stop texting now!  This is one of my very best friends Casey Peters.  I took this photo a while back after a night of large amounts of wine and High School Musical 2.  She is currently up on my wall as Miss December of last years calendar.  And if you wanna see more of her, buy our 2009 copy!
