Congrats to Ji Mi Kim for getting married in Korea this week! We wish her the very best and hope she has a wonderful time getting married! Ji Mi starred in our B.O.P commercial and will be joining the list of models for our 2009 Burn One Calendar. Burn One Productions has soooo much going on right now. I am directing and producing a show for Chinese TV, shooting the calendar and script suping another day on Valley Peaks this Tuesday. The guys of ValleyPeaks.tv are having their release party in Hollywood this Wednesday and I can’t wait. Oh and on a side note..Go Tigers! My softball team won our game today 13 -12!

My very best friend and producing partner went to the Emmys this past Sunday. She was asked to go and walk the red carpet, attend the ceremony and then after go to the Governor’s Ball! Very exciting and congrats to her for being invited! These are some pictures of Miss Diana Cruz with Adrian Grenier of Entourage and Alex Baldwin of 30 Rock.

Up next for Diana, is working on the Victoria Secrets launch in Miami this November! We are so lucky to have Diana on our team and appreciate her work with Burn One Productions. She is F.A.F (if you don’t know what this means, better ask somebody)

I had an amazing and busy busy busy day today! Burn One is finishing casting for our 2009 Calendar! We have a wonderful group of photographers on board and I can’t wait to begin shooting. This is a picture from our cover of last years calendar (minus the graphics) of Hannah Landberg. Hannah is in Hong Kong this year, and we will miss her dearly for this years shoot, but she is conquering the world over there! Big ups to that. On another exciting note, regarding China…I will be directing a pilot for a Chinese series this month! I met with Mr.Fantastic, Richard Chang, for an amazing dinner meeting. Jaymz Eberly was also there, and he will be doing the photography on that project as well as a few months of the calendar. More on all the new project soon. Can’t wait to get back to directing!!!!!

I just went back to Michigan to learn more about shooting movies there with the new AMAZING tax incentive being offered. I went into Detroit with a good friend of mine who is originally from there to scout locations and see the city. We had a wonderful time exploring the streets and here is a few pictures I took while we were down there. Detroit has been through a lot (to say the least) as a city, throughout the years. I grew up in Ann Arbor hearing stories from my parents about how wonderful Detroit was when they were growing up. After going back and visiting, I believe more than ever in the future of Detroit.

Here is a picture I took that reminds me of our DETROIT T-SHIRTS at our store, designed by Marta Alvira-Hammond. The city has an odd beauty to it. There are new building next to abandoned one, stretched across the skyline. It is a dream of mine to shoot in Detroit and a bigger dream of mine to create a permanent film base for Burn One Productions in Michigan. It was a wonderful trip and I am so inspired by the people of Detroit. Now is the time to rise again.

I have had a crazy 48 hours. Just got back from Michigan meeting with the film commission and Detroit location scouts for my next film! Got off the plane, went straight to the Janet Jackson concert, then had to be on set in the OC at 8:30 am the next day! I was able to script supervise for an amazingly talented group, on a new web series called VALLEY PEAKS. One of my oldest friends in LA, Phil Donohue is one of four creators of the series. It was such a dope set to work on. They have a long list of rising stars on board including actor Tanner Beard, and Brandon Rogers. More on Valley Peaks as it’s release date approaches but for now check out their TRAILER HERE
This is a picture of the creators of ‘Valley Peaks’ at our Burn One Productions 2008 Calendar Release party in Hollywood! They are hillarious!
Here is our newest film shot in the Mojave desert on a 103 degree day with a fabulously talented group of people. Actor Jason Burks has some really impressive projects coming out soon and he was wonderful to work with. We had a blast shooting it even though the Chinese buffet was BRUTAL and we forgot to buy ice! Shout out to the Mojave Inn for hosting us. We will have a second version up of the footage very soon as a spec commercial! I have to go to bed now…flying to Michigan to meet with the film commission there and get rolling on my next film. More soon. In the mean time, hook us up with some hits by clicking HERE

This is a picture of actor, Ed Gale. We had the pleasure of working with him on our recently B.O.P. Commercial. Since the movie has been released, we have been flooded with emails about his performance and power to steal the show! We want to personally thank Ed Gale for being in our commercial, and correct that his name is spelled ED GALE. Check out all his other projects HERE! If you ever get the pleasure of working with this man, he is a true professional and he lights up the set in front of and behind the camera.

This is a shot my aunt’s friend took while Obama was in Ann Arbor. He was in Michigan driving from Ann Arbor to Detroit to Monroe to Toledo in a motorade. I will be going back to Michigan next week to meet with the film commission in Lansing as well as location scouting in Detroit to begin pre-production on my next film! We will be shooting entirely in Michigan to take advantage of the 40% tax incentive as well as support the Michigan economy. It has always been a dream of mine to bring film to Detroit, and I have some amazingly talented crew and cast ready to go! More soon on my next short film. Back to this picture….that looks like a president to me! For more pictures of Obama in my home state go to http://flickr.com/photos/mamoseley
