I have a deadline for a new draft of my Short Film I have coming up due tomorrow…should be working on it right now actually! I am so excited about this script and group of actors I am going to be working with. I will be working the festival route with it. Lots of big things in it production wise. Gonna be a challenge but DOPE DOPE DOPE when it’s done. Stay tuned.

I was very charmed last night by the Obama family. Coming from Michigan where the mayor of Detroit can’t stay out of jail, it was wonderful to see something fresh in politics. Anyways…this is a photo of Miss Jaime…our September girl from our 2008 Calendar. It was taken by the ever-so talented Brian Bagget, who you can contact at his myspace page. Congrats to Jaime and Brian for getting married this weekend!

Burn One just wrapped another project yesterday. We took a small crew out to the desert to shoot with the incredible actor Jason Burks! That movie will be up online very soon!! Just have to do some cool sound design and then it will be ready. We had a great day in the 104 degree heat. Got a sketchy motel and ate at an even sketchier Chinese buffet (my idea..sorry crew) The desert is a crazy place. We saw some kooky shit out there, let me tell yah.

Special thanks to the DP of our day Ryan Fogle who also had a chance to shoot a very cool and funny spec commercial while we were out there too! Darielle Rose did some fabulous special effects makeup, and Diana Cruz held it down on the production end. Mad love to all others involved as well! More on Jason Burks and the video posting soon. We have two meetings today to begin preproduction on two new projects! I have finally finished my new script that was two years in the making and I am meeting with my lead actor Kent Karson today! Also I will be shooting a new spot for our Burn One Booty Shorts with a talented dancer…more on who that is soon. Shout out to Jaymz Eberly for his appearance on MTV this weekend for his work with Lowriderpimps! my producer Diana Cruz and I went and had a blast at the event! Congrats Jaymz!

I am excited to announce, I will be shooting my next project this Saturday in the Mojave Desert with the talented actor Jason Burks! I am not going to reveal much but this will by far be a whole new genre for me to approach! This is a picture from a shoot I did with photographer Brian Baggot for our 2008 calendar. It was magic hour, and he did a great job.

Had a wonderful day in Bell Gardens at the True Memories Car Club Event with Low Rider Pimps. I was there to support all the wonderful people we worked with on our B.O.P Commercial. Keep those hits comin on you tube too! I was able to go back to my roots, photographing and even video taping the Low Rider Pimps Classy Pin up Contest! Nothing like taking a break from directing and doing a little videography work. whoop whoop, watch out for more on this soon with NEW pics and video from the event!

Had a great day today in Long Beach, visiting El Pachuco headquarters and hung out around the area after with Jaymz talking about our upcoming projects together. Exciting stuff is on the way for Burn One Producitons. We have been flooded with positive responses from our new B.O.P. commercial, and I will be directing 2 upcoming movies!!! Can’t wait to get out there and stop editing and start shooting again! This is a picture of a shoot I production designed for Enzo Semmens of

These are some pictures of the Mexican band Kinky. I worked on this video a while back with Director Alan Fitterman and Producer Melanie Rein. Also our very own Diana Cruz, produced it as well. The video was for Kinky’s remake of the song “Mexican Radio”. It was a crazy, hot, chicken feathered, leaf blower,sweaty mess of fun. Check out Kinky if you don’t already know their music.

I have a busy week ahead, editing my third film and in pre-production for my next! Very excited to show everyone both! I am going to see the guys at El Pachuco with the talented Jaymz Eberly tomorrow. They are an original, creative business that costumes people in 1930’s Zoot Suites, amoungst other crazy pieces and shoes! El Pachuco was represented by Mr.Pachuco himself, Robert Garcia, in our new FILM more on that trip soon!

I am going to a 1930’s pin-up contest/car show with the wonderful photographer Jaymz Eberly and Gato of True Memories Car Club LA. I have worked with both of them on our recent FILM I will be filming the event for Jaymz as well as checking out the talent for our upcoming projects! More on that after I go on Sunday!
